On yet another Saturday, young people, cultural professionals, and special guests gathered at LaborArtory*. Participants and attendees were pleased to welcome two additional guests who added new perspectives to the discussion. We would like to thank Ms Irini Komninou, Head of the European Union Department of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Development and Head of the Creative Europe Office/Culture, for providing us with valuable information about the European Commission’s new calls for transnational cooperation projects, and Ms Angeliki Lampiri, Director of Cultural Training of the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, for discussing the European networks in which Eleusis participates, as well as their importance in the development of the cultural and creative sector.
LaborArtory’s young participants developed their ideas for their own project proposal, taking into account what they heard and discussed, from a perspective that transcends national borders and aligns with the European vision.
*A series of online workshops aimed at developing the skills of Eleusis’ young people in the cultural and creative industries, implemented as part of the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture programme and coordinated by MENTOR cultural production and management company.
