The first meeting of LaborArtory, the online series of workshops that connects Eleusis’ youth with the ever-changing field of the cultural and creative industries, was a success! During the introductory meeting on Saturday 15/1, participants were given a theoretical approach to basic concepts such as culture, art, cultural policy, cultural institutions, and a set of art projects within and beyond Greece that could serve as a source of inspiration.
During the first workshop, the Chair of the BoD of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, Ms Despina Geroulanou welcomed the young Eleusinians and wished them luck in their endeavours within the project, as well as Mr Yannis Koukmas, Director of Audience Development and Participation and Youth Lab’s Coordinator. The program will be completed by the end of February.
